Production Operator – Food Processing

About the role
The Production Operator supports food processing and filling operations, ensuring cleanliness and good housekeeping in the plant. Reporting to the First Line Manager, the role involves operating machinery, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to efficient production flow.
Key responsibilities
- Perform operations according to work instructions.
- Prepare for start‑up, including verification of metal detectors and other critical control points.
- Carry out machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Check and record net weight digitally.
- Maintain hygiene and safety at all times.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Weekly rotating shift schedule (7 am‑3 pm, 3 pm‑11 pm, 11 pm‑7 am).
- Minimum NITEC or foreign engineering diploma/degree.
- Ability to work in a non‑air‑conditioned environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 kg of material.
Required skills
- Verification of metal detectors and other critical control points.
- Machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Digital net weight measurement and recording.
- Food safety knowledge (WSQ FSC Level 1).
