Plant Engineer - Milo Plant

About the role

Nestle is hiring a Plant Engineer for its Jurong factory, which covers the Milo plant (process and fill & pack). The role manages and administers the manufacturing plant's equipment and buildings with technical competence so that operations meet company plans, budgets and goals. It is a permanent position requiring 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a plant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define, propose and monitor Maintenance and Improvement (M&I) plans and objectives in line with the Engineering Policy, Key Principles and the M&I activity described in the Nestle Engineering Excellence master document.
• Maintain and repair manufacturing plant and ancillary equipment and buildings, and ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
• Institute continuous improvements to equipment performance and efficiency.
• Lead and coordinate the M&I team, keeping members motivated and competent, and propose and implement work processes, procedures and technical resources for the team.
• Act as facilitator of the TPM PM pillar.
• Propose and control the M&I budget and undertake improvement jobs, minor and major projects.
• Assist the Energy Management Champion on the energy and water saving programme.
• Deliver in-house theory and practical training to selected employees so they can perform their duties.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering, degree in Mechanical Engineering or another engineering field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a maintenance or plant engineer.
