Production Operator – Life Science (Shift work, Tuas)

About the role

The Production Operator will work in a controlled environment to manufacture high-quality dry powder media for a global life-science leader. The role is based on-site in Tuas and involves shift work to meet production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately handle, weigh and dispense bulk raw materials for dry powder media formulation.
• Pack finished product into final packaging formats while adhering to procedures, GDP and EHS requirements.
• Manually assemble and operate equipment for powder transfer, blending and milling according to SOPs.
• Perform detailed cleaning and sanitisation of production areas and equipment using approved agents, ensuring GMP and contamination control compliance.

Required profile

• GCE ‘O’ level, NITEC or Diploma in Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a controlled manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work rotating 8-hour shifts.
• Ability to lift and move bulky materials and heavy equipment.
• Readiness to wear appropriate PPE in powder-handling settings.
