Production Supervisor (Night Shift) – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead the night‑shift assembly team, ensuring equipment is built safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications. This role combines hands‑on supervision with continuous improvement to meet quality and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily assembly activities, ensuring compliance with documented procedures and customer specs.
• Oversee equipment alignment, testing, inspection, integration, troubleshooting, and product release.
• Plan, assign, and coordinate work to meet production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Manage the use, calibration, and maintenance of assembly tools and special equipment.
• Distribute jobs and balance workload across the production team.
• Monitor individual and team performance, providing guidance or corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure all shop‑floor activities follow approved work instructions and EHS requirements.
• Track quality performance, initiate corrective and preventive actions for non‑conformances.
• Report production metrics, efficiency, and delivery performance in the shop‑floor control system.

Required profile

• Minimum Nitec or Higher Nitec qualification in Engineering or an equivalent course.
• At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
