Production Trainer (LNG Operations)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced LNG Production Trainer to design, deliver and manage comprehensive training programs for production supervisors and technicians. The role ensures the shift team is operationally ready and capable of troubleshooting critical scenarios such as gas send‑out disruptions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured training modules covering regasification, storage, jetty operations and send‑out activities.
• Conduct classroom, simulator‑based and on‑the‑job training (OJT) for operations personnel.
• Maintain and update training materials, SOP‑based modules, presentations and simulation scenarios.
• Manage competency assessments, certifications and development plans for field, panel and maintenance roles.
• Serve as custodian of the Operator Training System (OTS), creating and updating UniSim models and simulation exercises.
• Integrate training with plant DCS (Yokogawa CENTUM VP) and support control‑room operations.
• Ensure all training complies with HSSE standards, emergency response procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, HSSE and Engineering to keep training relevant.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an LNG trainer or similar role in an industrial setting.
• Strong background in designing and delivering technical training programs.
• Ability to assess competencies, provide feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and a safety‑first mindset.
