Project Coordinator – Interior Design Projects

About the role

The Project Coordinator supports design and project management teams by overseeing interior design projects from hand‑over to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive project hand‑over, review construction drawings, scope and client requirements, and create timelines and work schedules.
• Conduct site briefings with clients, act as the main contact during renovation, and manage client expectations.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, monitor workmanship quality and site safety, and manage deliveries and installation schedules.
• Perform regular site inspections, track progress against milestones, and resolve on‑site issues quickly.
• Track project costs, prepare and manage Variation Orders, and obtain client approval for changes.
• Flag potential delays early, propose solutions, and coordinate multiple trades to avoid clashes.
• Conduct final inspections, arrange client walkthroughs, and coordinate any rectifications.

Required profile

• Experience in interior design or renovation project management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and materials.
• Excellent coordination, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay highly organized.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
