Project Manager, Corporate Real Estate (1 Year Contract)

About the role

An established financial services organisation with a significant corporate property footprint is seeking an experienced real estate professional to support its strategic workplace and portfolio initiatives. The role leads high-impact real estate projects from planning through implementation, handover and review, with a 1-year contract and potential for extension.

Key responsibilities

• Lead real estate and workplace projects from planning through implementation, handover and review.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks and governance requirements.
• Partner with internal teams, landlords, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Develop business cases, project plans, reporting materials and recommendations for leadership approval.
• Oversee procurement, contract administration, supplier performance and commercial negotiations.
• Support portfolio optimisation including relocations, refurbishments, fit-outs and workplace improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, sustainability, operational resilience and internal governance standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate real estate, workplace strategy, property, facilities or project management.
• Track record of independently delivering real estate projects from initiation to completion.
• Understanding of commercial property, workplace solutions, fit-outs, relocations and lease-related activities.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts, procurement, consultants and external vendors.
• Degree in a relevant discipline; RICS, PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
