Public Relations Account Manager

About the role

The Public Relations Account Manager will support the team lead in delivering retainer and brand campaign projects for a diverse client portfolio. This role involves daily client interaction, translating briefs into actionable plans, and coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact for clients, crafting clear written communications.
• Interpret client briefs and collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and execution plans.
• Coordinate with regional offices, agency partners, and internal teams to align execution across markets.
• Oversee junior team members’ deliverables, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Manage project budgets, quotations, and related financial processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with media and influencers, pitch editorial features, and secure coverage.
• Identify suitable celebrities and influencers to support brand storytelling.
• Draft press releases, speeches, event rundowns, briefing books, media briefs, and video scripts.
• Support new‑business development by preparing client communications and pitch proposals.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in an integrated communications or PR agency.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and liaise effectively with clients.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Comfortable communicating daily with overseas colleagues via email and messaging tools (e.g., WhatsApp, WeChat, LINE, Viber).
• Proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills; cross‑market experience is a plus.
