Public Relations Intern

About the role

A company is looking for an enthusiastic Public Relations (PR) intern to manage its relationships with external parties and act as the face of the organization. The intern helps build a strong communications network that strengthens the company's reputation and raises awareness of its brand.

Key responsibilities

• Devise creative public relations strategies that fit the company profile
• Develop effective PR plans using appropriate strategies and tactics
• Organize and coordinate PR activities
• Use a variety of channels to maximize company exposure
• Liaise with marketing professionals to keep the corporate image consistent
• Arrange interviews or public speaking events and write press releases
• Advise the company on handling sensitive public issues to protect its reputation
• Assess sponsorship and partnership opportunities and manage those relations
• Analyse PR campaign results and prepare reports

Required profile

• Currently pursuing Marketing or Public Relations studies at tertiary or university level
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin
• Social media savvy and able to build strong relationships with key people or organizations
• Comfortable as a public speaker, outspoken and cheerful
• Able to work and learn independently
