Purchasing Executive – Hotel Procurement

About the role

The Purchasing Executive supports the hotel’s procurement function, ensuring timely sourcing, ordering and delivery of goods and services needed for daily operations. Working closely with the Purchasing Manager and various hotel departments, the role contributes to efficient inventory control and vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, prepare purchase orders and follow up to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Source quotations, obtain competitive pricing and verify documentation before approval.
• Maintain positive relationships with approved suppliers, coordinate communications and monitor performance.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels, support stock takes and help identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, prepare reports on orders and supplier performance, and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance, Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering and F&B teams to meet operational purchasing needs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or Hospitality.
• 1–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures, inventory management and best‑practice procurement.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication abilities.
