QA/QC Technician – Electrical Cable Testing

About the role

The QA/QC Technician will ensure the quality and reliability of electric cable products through rigorous testing and inspection. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to maintain compliance with industry standards and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical testing on cables and accessories using standard lab equipment.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections, record results in SAP QM, and issue acceptance test reports.
• Carry out incoming inspections, generate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and track corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with international cable testing standards and contribute to departmental KPIs.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and maintain accurate records in SAP.
• Operate laboratory instruments such as calipers, Visio Cable Pro, tensile machines, IR testers, and high‑voltage test rigs.
• Support customer technical enquiries, provide test data, and assist in complaint resolution.
• Assist the QA team with day‑to‑day activities as assigned.

Required profile

• ITE Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in electrical/electronic product testing (candidates without experience are also welcome).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 QMS is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP QM module is a plus.
