Qualitative Consulting Associate Director – APAC

About the role

We are looking for a senior qualitative research and consulting leader to shape the next phase of our qualitative consulting practice across APAC. This high‑visibility regional role partners with qualitative leaders and market teams to deliver multi‑market engagements and turn insights into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with regional qualitative leaders to develop and embed best‑practice consulting‑grade qualitative design, synthesis, and storytelling.
• Lead multi‑market qualitative studies, ensuring cross‑market synthesis captures local nuance and delivers strategic insight.
• Drive convergence of qualitative, quantitative, and AI‑enabled methods, integrating AI responsibly into research.
• Translate insights into clear implications, facilitate activation workshops, and co‑create solutions with clients.
• Set standards for storytelling quality, coach market teams, and contribute to APAC capability building.
• Represent qualitative thinking in senior client forums and align stakeholders across the region.

Required profile

• 10+ years of qualitative research experience with extensive multi‑market APAC exposure.
• Proven track record in consulting‑led qualitative work and acting as a trusted advisor to senior clients.
• Strong ability to synthesize insights across markets and communicate them with impact.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in classic and emerging qualitative research methods.
• Experience with cross‑market synthesis and insight storytelling.
• Practical knowledge of AI‑enabled research methods.
