Quality Engineer – Monitoring & Improving Product Quality

About the role

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that parts and products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability in the field. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track quality performance of parts and products in the field.
• Maintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.
• Analyse quality trends, highlight issues and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
• Follow up on quality‑related matters through to final resolution and disposition.
• Coordinate and conduct meetings with internal departments and external vendors on quality issues.
• Develop, review, and improve inspection and quality control processes.
• Train and support technicians and vendors on quality standards and procedures.
• Investigate field failures, perform root‑cause analysis and recommend effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with EHS procedures, workplace safety policies and safe work practices.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Precision Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control or related functions.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with ISO9001 / ISO45001 quality systems and quality tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and quality management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous, detail‑oriented with a strong quality mindset.
• Demonstrates integrity, initiative and the ability to work independently.
