Quality Inspector - Engine Components

About the role

Gevernova is looking for an Inspector to carry out visual and dimensional inspection of engine components (gas turbine and aero-derivative turbine components) according to written work instructions and quality plans. The inspector is assigned either to the Quality department for final quality inspection or to an Operations cell for incoming inspection of repair work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and manage the area of the parts
• Ensure proper work clearance and correct, complete documentation and records
• As Incoming Inspector, record incoming conditions of parts so work scope can be determined accurately
• As Final Inspector, ensure parts meet specification requirements
• Prevent non-conforming parts from moving to the next workstation
• Support Manufacturing and Quality Engineers with evaluations and audits, and give them feedback on inspected parts
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and housekeeping, and support other departments as assigned

Required profile

• GCE O' Level or equivalent with 3 years of quality inspection experience, or GCE A' Level or equivalent with 2 years
• NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, or other recognised technical training or certification (case by case)
• Desirable: diploma in Mechanical and/or Aircraft Engineering
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Team player
