Quality Specialist – Inspection & Process Control

About the role

The Quality Specialist is responsible for inspecting incoming, in‑process and final products within the assigned area to meet quality goals, production targets and cycle‑time requirements. The role ensures accurate product judgment, timely reporting and smooth handovers between shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of incoming, in‑process and final products to verify compliance with specifications.
• Provide accurate product judgments and promptly report findings.
• Monitor production lots and expedite processes to achieve minimum cycle time.
• Follow OCAP and escalation procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety and discipline in the work area.
• Ensure effective shift‑to‑shift handover and communication.
• Participate in cross‑functional improvement projects and support stock‑count activities when required.

Required profile

• Ability to work 12‑hour rotating shifts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Capability to work independently, multitask and manage time effectively.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a team‑player mindset.
• Physically fit and not color‑blind.
• Minimum education: NITEC or equivalent, or O‑Level/SPM with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
