Recruiter II – Business Recruiting

About the role

You will be the face of recruiting at Datadog, shaping the candidate experience and supporting the company’s rapid growth. As the first point of contact for new candidates, you will identify great talent, tell the Datadog story, and turn candidates into employees. You will partner with hiring managers across the organization to drive talent acquisition and ensure a seamless interview journey.

Key responsibilities

• Find qualified talent for open roles via sourcing, job posts, referrals, and agencies.
• Screen candidates to ensure their qualifications match the open roles.
• Collaborate with leadership to design or streamline interview processes.
• Ensure follow‑up and closure for all interviewed candidates.
• Negotiate compensation with qualified candidates.
• Enhance the recruitment process through training interview teams.
• Leverage Greenhouse to track candidate progress, resurface existing talent, and keep data clean for reporting.
• Ensure candidates have an excellent interview experience regardless of outcome.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of full‑lifecycle recruiting experience in‑house or at a staffing agency.
• Expertise in sourcing and identifying where top talent lives.
• Autonomous with the ability to work independently on multiple positions.
• Exceptional at selling the value proposition, negotiating, and closing great candidates.
• Skilled at operating with urgency throughout the recruiting cycle.
• Able to navigate an ever‑changing recruitment process.
