About the role
Achieve Group is expanding its Commercial Shipping recruitment team across Asia. The role focuses on sourcing and placing talent for specialised functions such as chartering, shipbroking, operations, technical, finance and corporate roles within the maritime industry.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from business development to candidate placement.
- Build and maintain relationships with shipowners, ship managers, brokerages and other maritime businesses.
- Identify and engage professionals through market mapping, networking and headhunting.
- Provide clients with market insights and hiring advice.
- Develop a specialist shipping market and client network.
Required profile
- Previous recruitment experience, ideally within shipping, maritime or technical recruitment.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A commercial mindset with a drive to develop new business.
- Curious, resilient and eager to build expertise in the shipping market.
