Recruitment Team Leader – Asia (excluding India)

About the role

We are looking for a Recruitment Team Leader to drive talent acquisition across Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, Mainland China and Hong Kong. Reporting to the regional recruitment leadership, you will shape strategy, enhance employer branding and ensure a seamless hiring experience for our business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing and pre‑employment checks.
• Partner with country HR leaders in South Asia, Greater China and Japan to design recruitment marketing campaigns and build direct sourcing pipelines.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to deliver tailored recruitment solutions and maintain consistent hiring standards.
• Develop and execute employer branding initiatives and recruitment strategies for the assigned markets.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, manage employment agreements and support internal mobility with fairness and transparency.
• Train, mentor and coach recruitment consultants through regular one‑on‑ones and performance reviews.
• Provide market insights, recruitment metrics and competitor analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with candidates, agencies, sourcing partners and global recruitment teams.
• Contribute to an inclusive, safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience leading recruitment teams, either internal or agency‑based.
• Proven cross‑border recruitment experience in listed Asian markets.
• Strong track record managing full‑cycle recruitment processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and coach team members.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience producing recruitment reports and metrics.
• Experience with psychometric tools such as SHL assessments is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with an Applicant Tracking System (e.g., PageUp or similar).
• Familiarity with SHL or comparable psychometric assessment platforms.
