Regional Benefits Consultant – Multinational Advisory

About the role

Marsh Health and Benefits is looking for a Regional Benefits Consultant for its Multinational Advisory practice, based in the Singapore office. You will join an international consulting team advising multinational clients across the Asia Pacific region, contributing to the team's commercial success by delivering consulting solutions across several lines of business at Mercer. The role covers employee benefit domains such as health, flexible benefits, wellbeing and retirement.

Key responsibilities

• Build internal networks with the regional consulting team, country brokers, country retirement teams and cross-line-of-business functions, and external partnerships with insurers and third-party service providers.
• Manage regional consulting projects, including ad-hoc multi-country projects, benefit and well-being strategy and implementation, employee health data analytics and retirement governance and advisory, acting as project manager and keeping stakeholders informed.
• Attend internal and client meetings to give guidance, and prepare client-facing presentations on employee benefit trends.
• Identify and drive first-to-market initiatives, develop vendor partnerships and take a client-centric approach.

Required profile

• Prior consulting experience in health, global or regional benefits and/or employee benefits.
• University degree in an analytical and business management field, preferably Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or related.
• Strong domain knowledge in corporate employee health, well-being and/or retirement.
• Strong project and client management experience.
• Analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret trends, create analytics reports and tell data stories.
• Proactive, resourceful, critical thinker and team player able to handle tight timelines and cross-functional work across Asia.
• Business acumen and strong market research skills.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• MAS qualification is required for this role.

The role is hybrid: colleagues are expected to be in the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week, with each office-based team identifying an anchor day per week.
