Regional Director, Enterprise Sales - India

About the role

Chainguard is seeking a Regional Director of Enterprise Sales for India to lead a team of 5‑7 Enterprise Account Executives. Reporting to the VP of International Sales, you will drive revenue, shape strategy for large accounts and foster a collaborative, high‑performing sales culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of 5‑7 Enterprise Account Executives, overseeing forecasts, territory planning and performance metrics.
• Develop and refine onboarding and ramp processes for new AEs, ensuring rapid productivity.
• Coordinate with marketing, customer success, BDR, sales engineering and customer engineering to align go‑to‑market efforts.
• Set strategy and execution plans for Chainguard’s largest accounts across the region.

Required profile

• 6+ years selling technical products (open source, DevOps, security preferred) and 3+ years managing high‑performing software sales teams.
• Proven track record of exceeding revenue and pipeline targets, with experience selling to Fortune 500 customers.
• Existing enterprise relationships across APAC and familiarity with CSP marketplaces.
• Ability to travel as needed and thrive in a fast‑paced, hyper‑growth environment.
