Regional Service Engineer – Gearbox Overhaul

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Regional Service Engineer to join our team and provide on‑site service, repair and overhaul of industrial gearboxes and power transmission equipment across Singapore. The role involves hands‑on technical work, root‑cause analysis and direct interaction with customers to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Service, repair, strip, clean, inspect, test‑run and re‑assemble a wide range of industrial gearboxes and rotating equipment.
• Diagnose root causes of failures in transmission and wind‑power gearboxes with minimal supervision.
• Prepare detailed service reports and communicate technical findings to customers.
• Travel frequently to customer sites and work in the company’s CBD office as required.
• Participate in OEM training and continuous learning programs.

Required profile

• Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification.
• Strong knowledge of industrial gearbox and power transmission products.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and operate workshop measuring tools.
• Safety‑conscious with understanding of work‑at‑height and rigging procedures.
• Good communication skills and a results‑driven attitude.
