Facilities Engineer – Semiconductor Industry

About the role

Join a leading semiconductor manufacturer and help keep critical facilities and utilities operating at peak performance. You will work on a range of systems in a fast‑growing high‑tech environment, ensuring reliability and efficiency across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise facility systems including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, CDA, vacuum, chilled water, DI water and process gas.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot facility‑related issues and implement solutions to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, servicing and project execution.
• Support improvement initiatives, energy‑saving projects and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards and company policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, Chemical or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience in facilities engineering, building services or utility systems within semiconductor, electronics, pharmaceutical, wafer‑fabrication or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of systems such as HVAC, chilled water, compressed dry air (CDA), DI water, vacuum, process gas, electrical distribution and cleanroom operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
