Registered Nurse / Senior Registered Nurse

About the role

The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse or Senior Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centred care within a clinical setting. The role involves supervising care staff, delivering comprehensive nursing services, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection-control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide care staff to ensure delivery of care according to established protocols.
• Provide direct patient care, including emergency response, medication administration, and adherence to nursing and infection-prevention standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate follow-up appointments.
• Develop and implement Individual Care Plans tailored to each client.
• Conduct training for care staff and deliver health education to patients and families.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and monitor pain levels, applying evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with therapists to support rehabilitation goals.
• Report incidents and changes in patient condition promptly to the Nurse Manager.
• Ensure cleanliness and readiness of medical equipment and supplies.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid practising certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and AED certification.
• Experience in hospitals, transitional care facilities, nursing homes, or day-care centres.
• Professional demeanor, integrity, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with patience and approachability.

Required skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification.
• Medication administration and documentation.
• Clinical assessment and pain-management techniques.
• Infection prevention and control procedures.
