Research Assistant – Public Opinion & Science Communication

About the role
The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at NTU seeks a Research Assistant to support a funded project examining public opinion and communication on science, environmental, and health issues.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct literature searches and assist in manuscript preparation.
- Conceptualize and design surveys and experiments.
- Perform statistical analyses on survey and experimental data.
- Carry out qualitative data analyses.
- Contribute to research publications and conference presentations.
- Prepare progress and final research reports.
- Disseminate research findings under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
- Handle administrative tasks related to the research program.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, psychology, sociology, or a related social science discipline.
- Strong foundation in survey and experimental research methods.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multicultural team.
- Demonstrated initiative and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Prior experience in survey and experimental research.
- Evidence of an internationally recognized research track record (journal publications, conference presentations).
