Research Assistant – Quantum Materials

About the role
The Centre for Quantum Sensing Technology at NTU is seeking a Research Assistant to support experimental work on quantum sensing materials. The role involves material development, device fabrication and instrumentation within a defence‑focused research environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and characterize quantum sensing materials.
- Fabricate devices and perform instrumentation tasks as required.
- Assist with research operations, including procurement of lab supplies and experimental setup.
- Document experiments in consultation with the project leader.
- Monitor, repair and maintain equipment and process tools.
- Support events, publications, proposals and project reporting.
Required profile
- BSc/BEng in physics, engineering, materials engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in quantum‑related work is advantageous.
