Research Assistant/Associate – Immune Aging (Bat Immunology)

About the role
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at Nanyang Technological University is seeking a motivated Research Assistant/Associate to join the BatLab. The role focuses on translational immunology and aging research using bat models, with the aim of identifying bat‑inspired targets for human disease and ageing.
Key responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the research project, from experiment set‑up to data collection.
- Monitor, document, and report experimental results accurately.
- Assist researchers with programming, data analysis, and literature review.
- Evaluate and interpret data, preparing oral presentations, written reports, and scientific manuscripts.
- Contribute to project management, presentations, and occasional laboratory demonstrations.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology or a related field.
- Prior experience in immunology or ageing is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with a strong academic and research record.
- Demonstrated ability to support diverse research activities.
- Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Team‑player capable of prioritising, multitasking and collaborating in a diverse environment.
