About the role
The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at NTU seeks a Research Associate to advance ultrasonic technologies for water sustainability and air quality management. Working with Asst Prof. Kim Gun, the successful candidate will contribute to innovative solutions that decompose waste in water and air using ultrasound.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research on water waste decomposition using ultrasonic methods.
- Develop and apply ultrasound‑based processes for sustainable infrastructure.
- Perform studies and analysis in sonochemistry and acoustic systems.
- Analyze and utilize acoustic cavitation to improve water and air treatment solutions.
Required profile
- M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability in data analysis and signal processing.
- Good academic record (GPA) and, preferably, journal publications.
