Research Fellow – Agentic AI, AI Security & Cyber‑Physical Security

About the role

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a motivated Research Fellow to advance frontier research in agentic AI, AI security, and cyber‑physical security. The role involves independent investigation, interdisciplinary exploration, and active participation in research funding proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cutting‑edge research in at least one of the following domains: agentic AI, AI security, or cyber‑physical security.
• Explore and develop interdisciplinary projects that bridge the above areas.
• Prepare high‑quality proposals to secure research funding.
• Collaborate with internal team members and external partners on research initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline with training in AI, AI security, or cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated ability to publish high‑impact research papers.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to investigate new interdisciplinary topics.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and drive novel research directions.
