Research Fellow – Behavioural Sciences & Public Health

About the role
The Asian Centre for Health Behavioural Insights & Interventions (HABITS) at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Research Fellow to support multidisciplinary health‑behaviour research. Working closely with the centre’s Directors, you will manage research projects, secure funding, and oversee day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily research operations, including budgets, expenses, resources and data storage.
- Identify and secure funding from grants, partnerships and commercialisation opportunities.
- Lead research projects through ethics approvals, data collection, analysis and dissemination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic, industry, government and community partners.
- Represent HABITS at conferences, meetings and public events.
- Promote HABITS achievements through publications, presentations and media engagement.
- Maintain and develop digital brand assets such as websites, blogs and social media.
Required profile
- PhD in behavioural sciences, public health, communication, psychology or a related field.
- At least five years of full‑time academic or market‑research experience.
- Proven track record of securing and managing research grants.
- Strong administrative, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods and academic publishing.
- Ability to work independently under strict timelines and collaborate in a fast‑paced environment.
