About the role
The Energy Research Institute at NTU seeks a Research Fellow to lead the development of carbon‑enhanced concrete materials. This role combines material innovation, rigorous testing, and sustainability analysis to create concrete solutions that securely store carbon while improving performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop new carbon‑material‑enhanced concrete formulations, integrating various carbon additives for storage and property improvement.
- Design and execute comprehensive testing protocols for advanced concrete specimens.
- Perform cost‑benefit assessments and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies on the developed materials.
Required profile
- Extensive knowledge of carbon‑enhanced concrete or geopolymer materials.
- PhD in material science, civil engineering, chemical engineering, or a closely related discipline from a reputable university.
- Hands‑on experience with analytical and experimental techniques and a solid theoretical foundation.
- Strong academic writing skills for papers and technical reports.
