About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is looking for a Research Fellow to carry out cutting-edge research on simulations and theory of novel mechanisms of extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light generation, for applications such as EUV spectroscopy and EUV nanolithography.
Key responsibilities
- Solve computationally electrodynamics problems involving electron-photon and electron-matter interactions in the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) regime.
- Develop new, efficient software for modelling unprecedented electromagnetic phenomena, using languages such as C++ and Python.
- Formulate new theories of EUV generation derived ab initio from Maxwell's equations and quantum electrodynamics/quantum field theory.
Required profile
- PhD degree in physics, mathematics, engineering or a related field.
- Strong background in electrodynamics simulation techniques.
- Strong background in theoretical physics and mathematical physics.
