About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a motivated Research Fellow to advance power engineering research. The role focuses on innovative packaging design and integration of power electronic devices, contributing to a sustainable, low‑carbon energy future.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct mechanism analysis, electro‑thermal modelling and structural design for power‑electronic device packaging.
- Validate designs through software simulations and hardware converter experiments.
- Publish findings in top‑tier IEEE journals and present at leading conferences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop reliable power‑electronic solutions.
Required profile
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, device materials and packaging integration.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
