About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is looking for a Research Fellow to work on a project in the area of power system risk modeling and assessment. The School is one of the founding schools of NTU, with over 3,000 undergraduates and 2,000 graduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a probabilistic security assessment framework for heterogeneous operational uncertainties and contingencies.
- Develop a comprehensive framework for evaluating the criticality of contingency events considering multiple impacts.
- Develop a coordinated and risk-averse optimization framework for interconnected power grid operation considering low-probability-high-impact contingency events.
Required profile
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or related subjects.
- Expert knowledge in power system risk analysis.
