About the role
The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University seeks a Research Fellow to lead product design and engineering activities for quantum instruments, focusing on the miniaturisation of NV sensors. The role combines cutting‑edge research with laboratory administration and logistical support.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research on product design and engineering for quantum technologies.
- Develop detailed product design drawings using AutoCAD.
- Apply optics and electronics design expertise to optimise quantum system performance.
- Maintain laboratory operations, including administrative and logistical tasks.
Required profile
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or Quantum Engineering.
- Familiarity with quantum technologies and AutoCAD.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Highly motivated for multidisciplinary research.
- Proven experience in product design, project leadership and optics alignment.
