About the role

The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) at NTU is seeking a Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow to join Assistant Professor Lim Jue Tao's laboratory. The role focuses on developing statistical and mathematical models to understand healthcare‑associated infections, leveraging large‑scale population data and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake and direct comprehensive literature reviews.
• Lead the analysis of large‑scale population‑level datasets using statistical and data‑science techniques.
• Provide statistical and mathematical modelling advice to junior researchers.
• Write reports, prepare presentations, and publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Generate research questions and design study protocols.
• Collaborate with national and international research teams.
• Coordinate a large research team to drive multiple projects simultaneously.

Required profile

• PhD in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of post‑doctoral research experience in a relevant field.
• Strong interest in statistical and mathematical modelling of infectious diseases.
