Resident Engineer, Mechanical and Electrical

About the role

Our client is looking for a Resident Engineer – Mechanical and Electrical to lead site supervision on a key project in Singapore. The role involves overseeing M&E works, resolving on‑site clashes and ensuring smooth coordination with all disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical site clashes and related issues.
• Close all RFA/RFI items and complete outstanding works, including preparation of as‑built drawings.
• Verify progress payment claims and other contractor submissions.
• Coordinate with adjacent construction sites and report to project consultants.
• Supervise qualified personnel and liaise with contractors on defect rectification.
• Track defect remediation progress and ensure satisfactory closure.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by PEB Singapore.
• Minimum 8 years of practical, on‑site experience in construction engineering.
