Resident Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical

About the role

The Resident Engineer (M&E) will lead the supervision of mechanical and electrical works on construction sites, ensuring that all activities meet regulatory standards and client expectations while delivering projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of technical supervisors to guarantee compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Collaborate with professional engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide planning, design and supervision leadership.
• Implement and sustain site supervision quality and safety assurance systems.
• Supervise structural works, identify non‑conformities, and ensure corrective actions.
• Interpret drawings and contract documents to guide on‑site execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering accredited by Singapore’s Professional Engineers Board.
• Registration with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of M&E experience in construction.
• Thorough knowledge of statutory regulations and local construction practices.
• Strong organizational skills and experience supervising M&E installations.
