Resident Physician – Hospital-at-Home Programme

About the role

Join NUHS@Home, an innovative hospital‑at‑home service delivering acute, hospital‑level care to patients in their own residences. As a Resident Physician you will work under a Medicine Consultant, providing comprehensive medical management to patients receiving care at home.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, take histories and develop individualized care plans for acute illnesses.
• Participate in daily virtual interdisciplinary rounds to review progress and adjust treatment.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and families about care plans.
• Utilise remote patient monitoring, video consultations and point‑of‑care investigations to ensure safety and quality.
• Conduct home visits and perform necessary investigations as required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to NUHS@Home policies.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council.
• Eligibility for registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Minimum 2 years postgraduate clinical experience in an acute‑care setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient‑centred attitude and willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Ability to make rapid, independent decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
