Resident Physician / Senior Resident Physician

About the role

The department seeks a Resident Physician or Senior Resident Physician to deliver patient‑centred care through customized health screenings and occupational wellness services. The role focuses on supporting individuals and organisations by assessing health status, ensuring fitness for employment, and promoting ongoing well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings and pre‑employment medical examinations tailored to individual needs.
• Provide advice and education to empower patients about their health and refer them for further follow‑up when necessary.
• Assess and certify fitness for employment in industrial and occupational settings.
• Perform statutory screenings, record findings, and deliver timely reports.
• Manage staff health issues, including illnesses, injuries, and occupational exposures.

Required profile

• Basic Medical Degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine or Occupational Medicine.
• Registration eligibility with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Experience in a primary‑care environment is advantageous.
