Resident Physician / Staff Registrar (Multiple Specialties)

About the role

CGH is seeking qualified medical professionals to join its resident physician / staff registrar programme across a wide range of specialties. The position involves providing direct patient care in both ward and outpatient settings, supporting surgical procedures, and participating in on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily ward and clinic services for assigned specialties.
• Assist senior surgeons and physicians during operative procedures.
• Participate in residential night call roster to ensure 24‑hour patient coverage.
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by supervising consultants.

Required profile

• Possess a basic medical degree or a postgraduate qualification that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
• Minimum of three years post‑housemanship clinical experience.
• Meet all criteria set by the SMC for Conditional Medical Registration for foreign applicants.
• Demonstrate English language proficiency if the primary language of instruction was not English.
