About the role
We are looking for a Rust Software Engineer to join our high‑performing technology team in Singapore. You will design, develop and optimise scalable, high‑throughput applications on modern cloud‑native platforms, contributing to mission‑critical systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high‑performance, business‑critical applications using Rust.
- Build scalable, multithreaded solutions and integrate microservices and distributed systems.
- Optimise application performance, latency and memory utilisation.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
- Own the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and support.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and promote engineering best practices.
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong commercial development experience with Rust.
- Solid understanding of concurrency, multithreading and asynchronous programming.
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs or gRPC services.
- Hands‑on experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS or SNS.
- Exposure to AWS and cloud‑native architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
