Sales Coordinator

About the role

A full-time Sales Coordinator position based in Singapore's Central Region. The role handles sales orders and administrative transactions, coordinates with suppliers, freight forwarders and warehouses, and keeps clients informed on delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and process all sales orders and administrative transactions accurately and on time.
• Monitor, coordinate and negotiate with suppliers on delivery schedules and shipments; consult Sales Solutions Engineers (SSEs) and Client Service Executives (CSEs) on pricing, payment terms and supply disruptions.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders for competitive freight costs and track shipments from origin to the warehouse, preparing full shipping documentation and keeping records of costs and documents including Goods Received notes.
• Handle supplier, distributor and client claims for shipping discrepancies such as damage, short or over shipment and pricing issues.
• Work with warehousing staff to pick and pack shipments so they are delivered on time and in line with contract terms.
• Attend weekly sales meetings, update SSEs and CSEs daily on client order status, check stock availability against purchase orders and maintain planning spreadsheets.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Good team-working and communication skills, verbal and written, and good interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Computing skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to collect, analyse, process and store information.
