Sales & Customer Executive – Precision Engineering

About the role

The Sales & Customer Executive will manage customer relationships, handle sales enquiries and quotations, and support business growth for precision engineering components, especially with overseas clients. This role serves as the key link between customers and internal teams such as engineering, production, and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle sales enquiries, RFQs and prepare quotations for precision engineering components.
• Follow up quotations, convert opportunities into confirmed orders and maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
• Identify and develop new customers, including overseas accounts, and support market expansion.
• Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, communicating specifications, pricing, lead times and delivery schedules.
• Liaise with engineering, production, QA and logistics to ensure accurate quotations and smooth order fulfilment.
• Support export documentation, coordinate overseas customer visits, video meetings and trade exhibitions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, customer service or account management, preferably in engineering or manufacturing.
• Ability to understand basic engineering drawings and technical specifications (training provided).
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with basic CRM or ERP systems.
