Sales Development Representative (Singapore)

About the role

EnterpriseDB (EDB) is looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive PostgreSQL adoption across South Asian markets from its Singapore hub. The SDR will work closely with Account Executives, using a consultative and entrepreneurial approach to generate and qualify sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inbound and outbound prospecting to identify new sales opportunities in Singapore and surrounding regions.
• Qualify and nurture leads through a consultative sales approach.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop strategies that increase PostgreSQL adoption.
• Utilize prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, TechTarget, and ZoomInfo.
• Meet and exceed sales opportunity generation targets.
• Support EDB’s mission and contribute to growth in the Singapore region.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as an SDR or BDR covering South Asian countries.
• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese a plus.
• Primary market focus on ANZ, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.
• Hunter mentality with strong outbound and inbound prospecting skills.
• Interest in technology, especially open‑source solutions.
• Experience in database, SaaS, or cloud industries is highly desirable.
