Sales Executive / Assistant Manager – IT, AV, Sound & Lighting

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive / Assistant Manager to drive business growth across IT, Audio‑Visual, Sound and Lighting solutions. You will work with a diverse client base in corporate, education, government and commercial sectors, delivering integrated AV projects from prospect to after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and grow new business opportunities across target sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, system integrators and end‑users.
• Manage the full sales cycle – prospecting, quotation preparation, negotiation, project coordination and after‑sales support.
• Promote the company’s portfolio of AV, professional sound, lighting, video‑conferencing, digital display and integrated solutions.
• Collaborate closely with technical and project teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, tenders and follow‑up with customers.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities and emerging AV technologies.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Engineering, Electronics or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience in AV, IT, ELV, system integration, lighting, sound or related industries.
• Experience selling to government agencies, schools, consultants or project contractors is an advantage.
• Strong business development, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and results‑oriented.
• Comfortable working in an SME environment where versatility is valued.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
