Sales Executive / Manager - Marine Navigation & Communication Solutions

About the role

Fuku, a leading provider of marine electronics and communication solutions across the Asia-Pacific, is looking for a Sales Executive or Sales Manager with proven experience in the marine industry. The role drives business development and account management across Singapore and the region, covering equipment sales, service contracts, airtime solutions, retrofits and vessel upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with ship owners, ship management companies, offshore operators, shipyards and other maritime stakeholders.
• Pursue sales opportunities for navigation, communication and connectivity solutions, and promote servicing, maintenance agreements, installation and commissioning services and retrofit projects.
• Sell satellite communication, airtime and value-added connectivity solutions, and expand opportunities for distributed marine electronics.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tenders, and handle commercial negotiations.
• Work with engineering, project and service teams to deliver projects successfully.
• Monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs, and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3-8 years of sales, business development or account management experience in the marine, offshore or maritime industry.
• Existing network and relationships in the maritime sector, including preferred contacts such as ship owners, ship management companies, vessel superintendents, fleet managers, ship captains, shipyards and marine contractors.
• Proven track record of generating sales and developing customer accounts.
• Familiarity with vessel operations and marine procurement processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GMDSS, VSAT and satellite communications, radar, gyro compasses, ECDIS, AIS, VDR, IP networking, maritime cybersecurity, CCTV and vessel monitoring systems is advantageous.
