Sales Executive - Waterproofing and Roofing Products

About the role

Sika (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sika AG, sells specialty construction chemicals such as waterproofing and roofing products. This Sales Executive role focuses on promoting sales of those products in the Singapore market, building the company's reputation for quality service including inspection, testing and auditing, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify potential clients and sell waterproofing and roofing products through relationships with MCST, while maintaining good relations with existing clients to grow revenue.
• Create and carry out plans to visit clients or contact them by phone and email.
• Prepare marketing materials and sales kits (brochures, leaflets, presentations, service capability, price lists, gifts).
• Develop marketing strategies to reach different market segments.
• Work with the Customer Service Team on selling prices and discounts for key clients, and on market intelligence on industries and competitors to propose selling schemes.
• Help build accurate client files, track client revenues monthly, and support collection of outstanding debts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly business reports covering sales achievement, projects, market information and competitor activity.
• Handle client complaints and claims with the Customer Service Team and Section Manager, and follow up on quotations.

Required profile

• A minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
• Understanding of how MCST operates is an advantage.
• Strong behavioural and communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Knowledge of waterproofing is an advantage.
