Sales Manager – Merchant Acquisition (Fintech)

About the role

Infinite Axis Events is expanding its digital payments and loyalty platform CryptoPOP in Singapore. We are looking for a hands‑on Sales Manager to lead merchant acquisition, build the sales function from scratch and eventually manage a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle – prospect, pitch, close and onboard F&B, retail, tourism and lifestyle merchants across Singapore.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of target merchants and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Represent the company at partner venues, community events and industry gatherings.
• Create and refine a repeatable sales playbook, including pitch decks, onboarding SOPs and objection‑handling guides.
• Recruit, train and lead a small local sales team as the business scales.
• Collaborate with marketing and community teams to align merchant sign‑ups with CryptoPOP loyalty activations.
• Track, analyse and report on pipeline, conversion and retention metrics.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Singapore’s payments regulations and licensing requirements to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in payments, fintech, POS or SaaS.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or manage junior sales staff, or clear readiness to step into that role.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with a comfort for in‑person merchant outreach.
• Self‑starter who can design processes in a lean, early‑stage environment.
• Based in Singapore with a solid understanding of the local business and regulatory landscape.
• Excellent English communication; additional local languages are a plus.
