Sales & Service Engineer - Precision Chillers

About the role

RTX's Collins Aerospace division, which includes Advanced Thermal Sciences (ATS), a supplier of temperature control systems for markets such as semiconductor, microelectronics, solar and laser, is hiring a Sales & Service Engineer in Singapore. The role combines technical sales and business development with installation, service and technical support for precision chillers, and is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell precision chillers to semiconductor OEMs, fabs and OSATs, identify new business opportunities and build customer accounts
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations, collaborate with customers and engineering teams on solutions, and deliver presentations, training and technical briefings
• Perform or coordinate installation, commissioning and site acceptance, and troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration and control system issues
• Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs and performance verification, and provide on-site and remote support including on-call duty
• Support warranty cases and recommend spare parts, and act as the primary technical contact for customers
• Maintain service reports, logs and documentation, track service activities and spare parts, and ensure tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment, chillers, HVAC or similar industries preferred; fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are welcome
• Willing to travel locally and overseas about 20%, work in cleanroom environments and provide on-call support
• Driving licence preferred

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems (compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion devices)
• Familiarity with electrical and control system troubleshooting
• Fluent English; Mandarin preferred for regional support
• Good communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
