Securities Dealer – Singapore

About the role

The Securities Dealer will execute client trades efficiently to support the Wealth Management franchise. The role combines market insight, pricing, and compliance to deliver best‑execution across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure best execution of trades across relevant markets using multiple trading platforms.
• Provide market insights and investment opportunities to Wealth Relationship Managers.
• Quote investment prices aligned with client objectives and risk appetite.
• Adhere to product due‑diligence, suitability policies, and internal governance standards.
• Conduct all regulated activities in strict compliance with MAS, SFA, and internal regulations.
• Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in Private Banking Advisory or Execution Desk functions; multi‑asset experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as FMRP, CMFAS RES 2B, CM‑EIP, CM‑SIP, CACS 1 and CACS 2.
• Detail‑oriented, accountable, and able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Team player with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
• Singaporean or Permanent Resident preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Bloomberg and MarketAxess platforms.
• Strong MS Excel skills; knowledge of VBA and Python is advantageous.
• Experience with core banking systems (e.g., Avaloq) is a plus.
